Derives from the greek Aero-Statos meaning “standing in air”.
This derivation covers the musical impression made by Aerostat. The sensation of the music is the key driver of the floating, spatieous feeling in the sets provided by Aerostat.
Away is the need to define style be genre.
To stay is the need to create feeling through intelligent programming of beats, melody and drone.
No more hype. Passion for emotion endulged by sonic phenomena. No need for identity – let the sound deliver Our message.

Yes, it is time for some more crazy dubstep!
This time I would like to bring Skream to your attention. This 24 year old fella is hitting the scene hard right now. He started producing in 2006 and have since then released more than a dozen EP’s and a full length album.
The 9th of August, Skream will release his second album, Outside the Box on Tempa.
When I first fell over this track I wasn’t really that impressed. The original had a good vocal, but the rest of it just didn’t do it for me. I thought it needed something more to be more than just a tech-house track. Then I purchased the whole release and found the dub mix of it. Suddently the whole aspect changed and ripped it appart! But in a way that didn’t ruin the theme of the song you can say. It’s hard house, really pumping, but the red thread is still there with some of the vocal and stuff.
I’m gonna be honest. I’m a huge fan of the pulsing music scene the city of Buenos Aires has, and has been since my visit in late 2008. It never leaves me alone. It has a heart for harmonic yet hammering techno, some say it’s because the south american scene is somehow behind the european, but in my eyes they just keep on doing what they are good at. When I first heard this track while surfing around soundcloud sites, I was right back in Buenos Aires.. having a good time untill daylight breakes, and then keep on going with everything in it! I’m not sure a listener who hasn’t been there will feel exactly the same way, but I’m sure it will be good.
Bongo & Pusk – MTA150110 MixTape by bongopusk
These guys got my attention when I first heard their very techy, tech house style, it actually started a cold winter day in Copenhagen over a cop of coffee, and a laptop blasting their newest promo out in the café, so how could it not be a great first hand impression? This set is from the MTA parties held at Hal D, shows how they can take you from funky house to stripped almost “ambivalent” minimal, and then rip it up with a tribal hypnotic beat, but all in the same, a funky sound as always. And it really works!
Give it a listen, you won’t regret it!

A close friend of mine gave me a hint about this young talented dj called Kini from India one night while drinking and eating tapas. It might sound all corny but it hit me straight away this mix, the very deep minimal yet so intense style really works. And if it works on a small scale monitor I cannot wait to hear it on the F1 system at Villains Club (Rust Nightclub) next Thursday the 8th of July! You should really check her out if you want somethring different from the everyday techhouse experience!
Through the past time in the Copenhagen nightlife, the name “Sapriori” came up before me and got my attention again and again. And with a positive tune everytime. This young dj and producer first played his vinyls for me at the local bar in Vesterbro, Ritz (R.I.P) and since then I have been introduced and hooked to the progressive, micro and very deep dubby sound he has.
Take a moment to relax, listen to the music while doing something and drift away on it.
Well since the soccer fever is raging and some of us have no interest in watching grown men run around in circles. I decided to post this fab. track by S.A. Nerdcore group ‘Die Antwoord’.
Die Antwoord will be performing on this years Roskilde Festival, check em out if you are around.
And talking about Roskilde, my old time mate, is most likely not going to make it this year, so in honor of him and his weave goldie locks, ‘Cookie Monster – Ginger Pubes’ enjoy!
