South Africa (Unofficial Cup Theme)

June 13th, 2010

Well since the soccer fever is raging and some of us have no interest in watching grown men run around in circles. I decided to post this fab. track by S.A. Nerdcore group ‘Die Antwoord’.

Die Antwoord will be performing on this years Roskilde Festival, check em out if you are around.
And talking about Roskilde, my old time mate, is most likely not going to make it this year, so in honor of him and his weave goldie locks, ‘Cookie Monster – Ginger Pubes’ enjoy!

A new dubstep angle

June 2nd, 2010

Having listend to a lot of dubstep since the wave of british wobble bass stuck once again, I’ve opened up my eyes for a more deep and in a way minimal type of dubstep. More dubby you could say, anyway I’ll let the music speak for itself, enjoy.

Easter – good music and good times

April 3rd, 2010

As a little taster to what should be expected from this blog, let’s start with a tune that really rocks my world these days:

Nina Kraviz, young, Russian producer and dj, appears to have found a formula that really moves and get under people’s skin. A good, late night groover, that really catches and bends minds, being hypno as we require from tracks like these, in moods like these.

This track is very different than tonight’s excursion into techno-realm since almost the entire JATO-crew is attending Mike Dehnert at Culture Box, but we must be able to admire all aspects of electronic music in order to understand and expand our musical horizons, and progress, musically that is.

Last night, Autechre was attended by the JATO-crew as well, and what a blast it was. Giving room to this kind of musical excursion in one of the prime spots of Danish performance arts is definitely good!
